Economic Laws Practice (ELP) announces four promotions into the equity partnership of the firm – taking the total up to eleven. These promotions are a recognition of the growth of individual and equally that of the firm. With these promotions, ELP is on the path to entrenching the internationally established concept of partners as ‘custodians.’
- Babu Sivaprakasam is a leader in the field of Banking & Finance and has over 25 years of experience in the field. Prior to ELP he previously served with Standard Chartered Bank and SNG Partners.
- Harsh Shah a leading tax professional, is a qualified lawyer and a chartered accountant. Harsh began his career with ELP, had a brief stint with Deloitte and PwC and then returned to the ELP fold in 2013.
- Jitendra Motwani, widely recognized in the field of regulatory litigation has been with ELP since 2011. Prior to ELP, Jitendra worked with PDS Legal and DSK Legal.
- Ravisekhar Nair, is a leading competition lawyer in India and is involved in some of the most contentious cases in India. He has been with the firm since 2012 and has now assumed additional responsibilities for ELP’s Bangalore office as well.
In addition to the above, we are also happy to announce the promotions of 8 of our colleagues to Associate Partners and 10 colleagues to Senior Associates.
