DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is pleased to announce that Alex Illichov has joined the firm as Director of IT Operations.
Based in the firm’s Calgary office, Alex is responsible for all operational aspects of the firm’s IT department including the management of our national IT operational staff. Working closely with the Director of IT Security & Infrastructure, Alex ensures the delivery of efficient and effective technology; engaging legal services, administration and other stakeholders to achieve continuous productivity.
Managing complex projects and professional teams in various leadership roles for more then 14 years, Alex has accumulated extensive experience in enterprise solutions design and implementation, IT & data center infrastructure and operations management, IT service and asset management, business continuity and disaster recovery strategy, technology strategy and transformation, and IT due diligence. Alex has a strong passion for developing next generation solutions, building and improving processes, adding value, and providing senior leadership advice with an emphasis on work-life balance, promoting a culture of equality and inclusiveness.
Prior to joining DLA Piper, Alex worked with a number of large US, Canadian and international clients helping to transform and improve their businesses through technology enablement across various industries.
