DLA Piper advised critical minerals company Rare Earths Americas, Inc. (REA) on its US$69 million upsized initial public offering. REA is a Texas-based critical minerals corporation advancing a portfolio of prospective heavy rare earths projects in the United States and Brazil.
The DLA Piper deal team was led by Co-Chair of the Capital Markets and Public Company Advisory practice Era Anagnosti (Washington, DC) and included Partners Bianca LaCaille (New York/Seattle), Andrew Ledbetter (Seattle), Oliver Wright (Washington, DC), and Keith Ranta (Washington, DC), and Associates Katerina Karaoglanova (San Diego), Thais Lopez (Miami), and Lachlan Myles Nichols (New York).
The REA IPO is among a number of capital markets transactions handled by DLA Piper, reinforcing the firm’s experience and established track record, particularly in the metals and mining sector. Bloomberg’s Q1 2026 league tables ranked DLA Piper as the #1 US equity IPO legal adviser to managers by deal count.
