Global law firm DLA Piper has advised Heidelberg Materials AG on the acquisition of a 70% majority stake in Peruvian cement producer Caliza Cemento Inca S.A. (Peru). The transaction is expected to close in early October 2026.
Founded in 2007, Cementos Inka serves growing regions across Peru and is well positioned to complement Heidelberg Materials’ established global trading and production network. The company operates two grinding units with a combined annual capacity of 1.3 million tons, as well as two ready-mixed concrete plants. Its state-of-the-art production sites are strategically located near Lima and Pisco, offering strong market access as well as efficient port connectivity for raw material imports.
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of heavy building materials and solutions, employing around 49,000 people in almost 50 countries. The company holds leading market positions in cement, aggregates and ready-mixed concrete and is a frontrunner in the industry’s transition towards Net Zero.

A cross-border and multidisciplinary team from DLA Piper’s offices in Germany and Peru worked on the transaction led by Corporate partners Dr. Christoph Dachner and Roberto Berendson. The team also included partner Luis Vargas, associates Lukas Reitebuch and Mariajosé Salazar.
