DLA Piper advises GigCapital7 Corp. on closing of business combination with Hadron Energy

DLA Piper advised GigCapital7 Corp. on the closing of its business combination with Hadron Energy, Inc., a developer of micro-modular nuclear reactors, at an approximately US$766 million pro forma equity valuation. GigCapital7 Corp. is the seventh private-to-public equity (PPE)™ SPAC of GigCapital Global.

GigCapital7 Corp. was formed to partner with an innovative technology company and facilitate access to the public markets through a business combination. Now operating under the name Hadron Energy, Inc., the combined company is listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker symbols HDRN and HDRNW, making it the first publicly traded micro-modular nuclear reactor company. DLA Piper previously advised GigCapital7 Corp. in its US$200 million initial public offering.

The DLA Piper deal team included Partners Jeffrey Selman, John Masselli, Elena Nrtina (all San Francisco), Of Counsel Benjamin Griebe (Palo Alto), and Associates Kaleigh Nevin, Rob Cartwright (both San Francisco), and Dallin Johnson (San Diego).
