
Global law firm DLA Piper advised Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (Bangchak) on acquisition financing facilities provided by DBS Bank Ltd. and Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC) in connection with Bangchak’s acquisition of 100% of the shares in Chevron HK Limited.
The two financing facilities, totaling approximately USD170 million, supported the acquisition and Bangchak’s broader strategic growth objectives.
Bangchak is a leading Thai energy company with operations spanning petroleum refining, marketing, renewable energy, natural resources and new energy businesses. The acquisition forms part of Bangchak’s ongoing strategy to strengthen and expand its portfolio and its regional footprint across Asia while supporting its long-term growth ambitions.
