DLA Piper adds cross-border investigations Partner Justin Simeone in Washington, DC

DLA Piper has welcomed Justin Simeone as a Partner in its White Collar, Investigations, and Government Enforcement practice in Washington, DC. Simeone advises multinational companies and executives on complex cross-border investigations, government enforcement proceedings, and high-stakes litigation disputes, bringing extensive experience guiding clients through matters involving regulatory scrutiny across multiple jurisdictions.

He has managed internal investigations across more than two dozen countries and advised clients responding to inquiries from leading US and international enforcement authorities, including the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of the Treasury, and the World Bank. In addition, he brings substantial trial and courtroom experience, having conducted witness depositions, argued motions in federal court, and served on trial teams in high-profile government-facing criminal and civil litigation matters.

Simeone’s arrival is the latest addition to DLA Piper’s global investigations and enforcement platform, which includes approximately 350 compliance and investigations lawyers and public affairs and communications professionals worldwide, as well as more than 40 former US Attorneys, Assistant US Attorneys, and state Attorneys General. He is the fifth partner to join the team in Washington, DC, in the past 18 months.
