DLA Piper advises Kreg Therapeutics on financing to advance patient mobility solutions

DLA Piper advised Kreg Therapeutics, a leading provider of specialty medical equipment and patient mobility solutions, on a US$50 million debt financing that will support the company’s continued growth and innovation.

Kreg Therapeutics develops, manufactures, and provides advanced therapeutic beds and mobility solutions for critically ill patients in acute care settings, including Level I trauma centers and leading health systems nationwide. The financing refinanced the company’s existing credit facility and provides capital to support growing demand for The Catalyst Bed, Kreg Therapeutics’ innovative in-bed verticalization therapy platform designed to improve patient outcomes and reduce the total cost of care.

The DLA Piper deal team was led by Partner Brian Tweedie and included Partners Drew Rosenberry, Of Counsel Nola Pickman (all Chicago), and Associate Matthew Hahn (New York).

With more than 225 global lawyers providing strategic counsel to private equity funds and their industry-leading portfolio companies, DLA Piper’s Private Equity practice has the team, experience, and relationships to help drive value across the investment life cycle by delivering responsive, efficient, and integrated solutions around the world. DLA Piper’s Global Private Equity practice ranks as the #1 most active among law firms, according to PitchBook.
