Dentons Lee recently welcomed Kate Barton, Global CEO of Dentons, to its Seoul office as part of her Asia tour. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss key developments in the global legal market, Dentons’ long-term strategy, and future growth opportunities in Korea.
Kate met with Dentons Lee partners and professionals and shared her perspectives on changing client expectations, the growing impact of AI on legal services, and the increasing importance of collaboration across jurisdictions and practice areas.
A key focus of the visit was Dentons’ global vision, “The Power of Together: 2030,” which aims to build a more integrated and aligned global firm focused on delivering exceptional service to multinational clients. The strategy emphasizes stronger cross-region collaboration, deeper client relationships, and the effective use of technology and AI.
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss Dentons Lee’s growth since joining forces with Dentons in 2020 and its future direction. Kate highlighted South Korea as one of Dentons’ strong growth markets in the first half of 2026 and discussed how Dentons Lee can build on this momentum by making greater use of Dentons’ global platform, strengthening cross-region collaboration, and expanding cross-border business opportunities.
Going forward, Dentons Lee will continue to leverage Dentons’ global network and its deep understanding of the Korean market to expand cross-border collaboration and deliver differentiated legal services to clients in Korea and around the world.
