Dentons appoints Ed Hunnisett as a partner in its Pensions team in London

London—Dentons has recruited Ed Hunnisett as a partner in its Employment and Pensions practice in London, strengthening the firm’s pensions capability at a time when employers and trustees are navigating increasingly significant strategic decisions around their schemes. He joins from Slaughter and May where he was Senior Counsel for eight years, prior to which he spent 15 years at Norton Rose Fulbright.

With over 20 years’ experience advising employers and trustees across the full range of pensions matters, Ed’s practice encompasses scheme surplus, investments, governance, buy-ins and complex strategic projects. He also has significant experience leading multidisciplinary teams on high-value mandates.

Ed brings particular expertise in complex corporate transactions, including multi-jurisdictional M&A, alongside broader advisory, transactional and governance matters. He is recognised for combining strong technical expertise with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
