Dentons, Canada’s Global Law Firm, is pleased to be advising Curaleaf Holdings on its take-over bid to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Aurora Cannabis in a transaction valued at approximately US$270 million.
The proposed combination would combine Curaleaf’s international distribution network and US market presence with Aurora’s cultivation, genetics and medical cannabis capabilities, creating one of the world’s largest cannabis platforms, with operations in 17 countries and combined revenue exceeding US$1.5 billion over the past 12 months.
Dentons is advising Curaleaf throughout the transaction, bringing together a multidisciplinary team with experience in complex cross-border M&A, securities, tax, regulatory and litigation matters.
