Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons has advised Vetropack Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of glass packaging, on the successful placement of its €150 million debut Schuldschein. A Dentons team led by Frankfurt-based partner Oliver Dreher acted for the borrower and the guarantor.
Vetropack Austria Holding Aktiengesellschaft acted as borrower and Vetropack Holding AG (Switzerland) as guarantor in Vetropack Group’s first Schuldschein placement. Raiffeisenbank International AG and ING Bank, which acted as joint lead arrangers, carried out the placement with international institutional investors.
Swiss-based Vetropack Group is a European leader in its sector. The listed, family-owned company employs approximately 4,000 people and generated revenues (net sales) of over CHF 800 million in 2021.
