Global law firm Dentons assisted Piombifera Italiana S.p.a. in the investigation procedure initiated in December 2019 by the Italian Competition Authority to verify the existence of an alleged anti-competitive agreement concerning the purchase of scrap batteries.
The proceedings have concluded with no finding of any violation of the antitrust rules and no issuing of any fines, with the client and other parties involved making commitments to the Italian Competition Authority.
Dentons acted with a team composed of Rome-based partner Michele Carpagnano, Head of the Competition and Antitrust group in Italy, and associate Giulia Giordano.
