Clifford Chance advises Vox Media on sale of portfolio of digital media brands to Penske Media Corporation

Global law firm Clifford Chance advised Vox Media on its agreement to sell a portfolio of its digital media brands to Penske Media Corporation (PMC).

The transaction brings together a combined portfolio of more than 25 media brands spanning entertainment, technology, sports, food and culture, including The Verge, Eater, SB Nation, POPSUGAR, The Dodo, Punch and Thrillist.

As part of the transaction, PMC will combine the acquired assets with its existing portfolio of media brands under a newly created publishing division, PMX, further expanding its global digital publishing platform and audience reach.

The deal team is led out of New York by partners Chang-Do Gong and Robert Chung and counsel Marina Livingston.
