International Law Firm Clifford Chance advised The Student Hotel, a global developer and operator of accommodation centers intended for students and travelers, in securing €145 million in social and environmental impact financing from UniCredit for the development of two new locations in Italy.
The project, in particular, will support the regeneration of the San Lorenzo district in Rome and the Belfiore district in Florence, revamping the areas for the local communities and expanding the availability of student housing in both cities. With these two new locations, The Student Hotel will have a total of five locations in Italy.
Clifford Chance advised The Student Hotel with a cross-border team from Milan and Amsterdam offices comprising partner Giuseppe De Palma and counsel Francesca Cuzzocrea (both GFM, Milan) and partner Titus de Vries and associate Jasper Dijkshoorn (both GFM, Amsterdam).
