Clifford Chance advises lenders on a US$1 billion KEXIM-backed financing supporting copper imports to South Korea

Global law firm Clifford Chance advises the lender consortium (comprising of The Export-Import Bank of Korea, KEXIM Global (Singapore) Ltd, KEXIM Asia Limited, JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., London Branch and Banco Santander, S.A.) on the $1 billion export financing to one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resources companies as borrower, in support of copper importation in South Korea.

The Clifford Chance team was led by partners Nicholas Wong and Nicolas Cookson with support from senior associate Giuseppe Chiaula and associate Namrata Pandit.
