Global law firm Clifford Chance is advising leading global investment firm KKR on the proposed investment by funds managed by KKR in Peak Reinsurance Holdings Limited, the group holding company of Hong Kong headquartered global reinsurer Peak Reinsurance Company Limited and its subsidiaries (Peak Re).
Established in 2012, Peak Re is an emerging market reinsurance specialist with a global portfolio. KKR’s investment will reinforce Peak Re’s commitment to serving its global clientele.
Led by private equity partner Tom Lin and senior associate Winnie Poon, the Clifford Chance team advising KKR also includes partners Cheng Li Yow, Patrick Scott, Anthony Wang, Michael Pallaras and Rocky Mui, counsel Andre Da Roza, and associates Wenkai Lyu, Kate Wilson, Denzyl Ang and Yuqian Zhang.
Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions including regulatory approvals.
