Clifford Chance advises HM Treasury and the United Kingdom Debt Management Office in relation to £10 billion green gilt issuance

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised the UK Government (HM Treasury and the United Kingdom Debt Management Office) in relation to its green gilt issuance.

The £10 billion 0⅞% Green Gilt 2033 is the UK Government’s first foray into the green bond market. The landmark sterling green transaction received strong investor support.

Clifford Chance’s team was led by capital markets partner, Kate Vyvyan who was supported by senior associate Benjamin Evans, associates Pearl Mahaga and Amy Hillier, trainee Robert Shu and legal project manager Beatrice Blois.
