International law firm Clifford Chance has advised its long-standing client, Hamburg-based wind and solar park operator Encavis AG on the acquisition of three additional solar parks in the Netherlands from BayWa r.e. Global, expanding Encavis’s generation capacity in the country to 228 MWp.
The solar parks in Dokkum (14 MWp), Lemsterhoek (31 MWp) and Hoogengraven (3 MWp) contribute to the secure and clean energy supply in Europe. Read more about the acquisition here.
This transaction builds on Clifford Chance’s market-leading sector expertise in renewable energy and infrastructure. The team in Amsterdam was led by Liesbeth Buiter and further consisted of Ellen de Kok, Johanneke Butijn, Esmée Oldenkamp, Youri Vink, Charlotte Horsten, Dolyne Munyampeta, Mies Rijperman and Julia van Heusden.
