School of Law, AURO University, Surat is going to organize the 3rd edition of the AURO Moot Court Competition.
Date: 3rd – 5th March, 2017
Venue: AURO University, Earthspace, Hazira Road, Opp. ONGC, Surat
Theme:
The theme of the competition is “Surrogacy”.
Eligibility:
- All students enrolled bona fide in an undergraduate i.e. 3 years / 5years, and post graduate law programme conducted by any College or University shall be eligible for participation in the competition.
- Registration from each University / College / Institution is restricted to one team.
Team Composition:
- Each team shall constitute minimum of two members and maximum of three members. In a team comprising of two members the members shall be designated as speakers. In a team comprising of three members the third member shall be designated as a researcher.
- A researcher shall be allowed to argue instead of a speaker only with the permission of the Court.
- In exceptional cases, with the approval of organizing committee a team may comprise of two members and one of the speakers might also be designated as a researcher.
- No additional member or team coach is allowed to accompany the team
Registration:
The teams must send the duly-filled Registration Form along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 4500/-. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “AURO University” payable at Surat. The same should reach to the address given below by 20th January, 2017:
