
Weil advised Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and another leading financial institution, as lead underwriters, in a $980 million follow-on offering of common stock of UL Solutions Inc. The follow-on offering was comprised entirely of secondary shares sold by UL Standards & Engagement, a nonprofit organization.
Weil previously advised the underwriters, led by Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, as lead managing bookrunners, in the $1.1 billion initial public offering of UL Solutions Inc. At closing, the IPO was the second largest IPO to date in 2024.
The Weil team was led by Capital Markets Co-Head Alex Lynch and partner Barbra Broudy and included Capital Markets associates Paul Heller, Eric Wissman, Patrick Motta and Evan Caltavuturo.
