Sidley advised Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets, on its US$1.3 billion preferred equity investment into Princeton Digital Group (PDG).
PDG is a leading developer and operator of internet infrastructure. Headquartered in Singapore with presence and operations in Singapore, Japan, India, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia, its portfolio of data centers powers the expansion of hyperscalers and enterprises in the fastest-growing digital economies across Asia.
Stonepeak’s long-term capital will support PDG’s next phase of growth, including both greenfield development and M&A, across both established and emerging Asia Pacific markets.
The cross-border Sidley team was led by partner Alun Evans (Singapore) and included Tim Chandler (partner, Houston), Coco Liu (counsel, Hong Kong), Ashley Moulder (senior managing associate, Houston), Esther Lo (managing associate, Singapore), Wilfred Ong (managing associate, Singapore), Zayn Mian (associate, Houston), and Enrrique Santa Cruz (associate, Houston).
