
Sidley represented Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets, on the CA$1.215 billion sale of its 50% interest in the Key Access Pipeline System (KAPS) project to Keyera Corp. Keyera, which owned the remaining 50% interest and serves as operator of the pipeline, acquired Stonepeak’s stake in the project. Sidley also advised Stonepeak on its acquisition of its interest in KAPS in 2023.
The Sidley team was led by Tim Chandler (M&A and Private Equity) and Chanse Barnes (Energy and Infrastructure) and included Mahalia Doughty, Brad Giacone, Di Duan, Hannah Qin, and Michelle Nguyen (Energy and Infrastructure).
