Sidley represented SlateView Capital in the formation of a joint venture with an institutional partner and in connection with the acquisition of Meadowbrook at Agoura Hills, a 156-unit assisted living and memory care community in Agoura Hills, California.
Meadowbrook represents SlateView’s first investment and the beginning of a broader strategy to acquire senior housing communities in high-barrier-to-entry markets throughout the United States. SlateView is a privately held real estate investment firm founded by senior housing industry veterans Azhar Jameeli and Kendall Young.
The Sidley team was led by Keith Hayden Del Prete and Jonathan Koh (Real Estate), with assistance from Vijay Sekhon (Private Equity), Mark Poole, Jared Feldman, and Nick Lopez (Real Estate).
