Sidley Represents Qualcomm in Its Acquisition of PickNik

Sidley is representing Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) in its acquisition of PickNik Inc., a robotics software company and steward of MoveIt, an open-source robotics manipulation framework. The acquisition is intended to advance Qualcomm’s open robotics ecosystem and more closely integrate MoveIt with Qualcomm Dragonwing robotics platforms and Arduino platforms.

The Sidley team is being led by Jon A. Olsen and Feifei Bian (M&A and Private Equity). The team also includes Derek Rogers, Taylor Ishida, Lauren Arrigo, and Eric Zhao (M&A and Private Equity); Rachelle Soderstrom, Paul Kariyawasam, and Jonathan Trang (Technology Transactions); Stacy Crosnicker and Sarah Recktenwald (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation); Lauren Kitces, Francesca Blythe, Eleanor Dodding, and Philip Robbins (Privacy and Cybersecurity); Eric Kauffman (Employment); Jen Fernandez, Dana Diaz, and James Daher (Global Trade); Ike Adams and D’Juan Jones (ABAC); and Greg Featherman and Sophie Arkusinski (Tax).
