Sidley represented Neuberger and LuminArx in the US$165 million Series G preferred equity investment in Upgrade, a consumer fintech company. The investment will help Upgrade continue developing and expanding its distribution to reach more consumers.
The Sidley team was led by Tim Chandler and Sam Seley (Private Equity), and included Daniel Allison, Alexander Thompson, Zayn Mian, and Di Duan (Energy and Infrastructure); Stanley Boris, Sean Smith, Kerry Nilsen, and Jordyn Singer (Banking and Financial Services); and Angela Richards (Tax).
