
Sidley represented Equity Group Investments (EGI) in the sale of its investment in Cross Border Xpress (CBX) to affiliates of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC) as part of a transaction valued at US$2.2 billion. CBX is the pedestrian bridge linking San Diego directly with Tijuana International Airport. EGI was part of the original investor consortium that advanced a cross-border transportation solution between the United States and Mexico and helped guide CBX’s growth into a leading transportation and travel facility.
The Sidley team was led by Gary Gerstman and Jeff Wysong (M&A and Private Equity) and included Jim Mendenhall (CFIUS).
