Sidley Represents Electronics for Imaging in Its Combination With Agfa’s Digital Printing Solutions Business

Sidley is representing Electronics for Imaging, Inc. (EFI) in its combination with Agfa-Gevaert N.V.’s Digital Printing Solutions business (Agfa DPS). Under the definitive agreement, an affiliate of Siris Capital Group, LLC will hold a 60% interest and Agfa DPS will hold a 40% interest in the jointly held company, bringing together the operating capabilities of EFI and Agfa DPS. The combined company is expected to serve thousands of customers across more than 100 countries through a global sales and service network. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
