Sidley Represents BOX Exchange in US$2.3 Billion Strategic Combination With MEMX

Sidley is representing BOX Exchange, LLC, the self-regulatory organization responsible for the BOX Options Market LLC, in connection with its proposed US$2.3 billion combination with Members Exchange (MEMX), an exchange operator and market technology provider. The combination is part of a broader strategic transaction in which TMX Group Limited, a global provider of market infrastructure, data, trading, clearing, and related services, will make a strategic investment in MEMX and is expected to hold an approximately 59% ownership interest in the combined business.
