Sidley, alongside Pérez-Llorca, represented 885 Capital, an international investment group specializing in sports and technology, in its acquisition of Club Deportivo Leganés (“C.D. Leganés”), a professional football club in Spain. The transaction also included the appointment of Eduardo Cosín as President of Club Deportivo Leganés.
885 Capital’s acquisition of C.D. Leganés reflects a strong commitment to the Club’s growth and to the Community of Madrid. The firm will focus on strengthening the Club’s sporting performance, deepening its connection with members and fans, continuing to drive infrastructure improvements, and preserving the identity, history, and values of a club approaching its centenary.
