Sidley Advises Wealthfront in Initial Public Offering

Sidley represented Wealthfront as regulatory counsel in its initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the New York Stock Exchange. The offering included 34,615 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of US$14 per share.

Wealthfront is a fintech company that helped popularize the robo-advisor style of automated investing. The company provides automated tools enabling cash savings and stock, bond, and exchange-traded fund investing. Its products include cash management, investing, borrowing, and financial planning solutions. This is the latest in a wave of fintech firms going public this year.
