Sidley represented InfraBridge in the completed sale of its 50% interest in Invenergy AMPCI Thermal Power (IATP) to ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC. IATP is a 5.4 GW portfolio of 11 contracted power assets across several North American markets, held in a joint venture with Invenergy.
InfraBridge, a division of DigitalBridge Group, Inc. (NYSE: DBRG), announced the transaction in March 2026. The sale was subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, which have now been satisfied. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
The portfolio sits in a segment the parties have tied to rising North American power demand from electrification and data-center growth, with contracted generation across seven markets supporting grid reliability.
The Sidley team was led by Cliff Vrielink and Jeff Kinney and included partners Daniel Allison, Irving Rotter, Terence Healey, Andrea Wang Lucan, and Eduardo Marquez Certucha; counsel Keturah Brown; and associates Rosalind Johnston, Hudson Pullin, Nick Drake, and Enrrique Santa Cruz (Energy and Infrastructure).
The team also included Angela Richards and Eric Ma (Tax); Heather Palmer (Environmental); Cat Zhang (Private Equity); Prabhat Mehta (Capital Markets); Vadim Brusser (Antitrust and Competition); Robert Velevis (Commercial Disputes and Litigation); Eric Winwood and Mary Niehaus (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation); Jen Fernandez and Mine Orer (Global Arbitration, Trade and Advocacy); Scott Goldstein (Insurance); and Katherine Roberts (Labor, Employment and Immigration).
