Ropes & Gray advised Charlesbank Capital Partners and Salus GRC in Charlesbank’s investment in Salus, which provides governance, risk, and compliance services to private fund managers, registered investment advisers, CFTC-registered managers, and broker dealers. Financial terms were not disclosed. The partnership was announced in a press release on May 10.
Charlesbank, based in Boston and New York, is a middle-market private investment firm with more than $15 billion of capital raised since inception.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Taylor Hart, tax partner Scott Pinarchick, and strategic transactions associate Jonathan Hempton.
