Ropes & Gray advised BV Investment Partners, a private equity firm focused on the tech-enabled business services, software and IT services sectors, on the closing of a single-asset continuation fund transaction for Right Networks, a premier provider of cloud solutions to tax and accounting firms. The closing was announced on October 12 in a press release.
This transaction continues BV Investment Partners’ ownership of the company and reaffirms its commitment to supporting Right Networks’ long-term growth strategy. The new continuation fund acquired BVIP Fund VIII’s stake in Right Networks.
The team was led by asset management partner Debra Lussier and included tax partners Amanda Holt and Dan Zuckerman, private equity partners Tim Castelli and Neill Jakobe, and capital markets partner Rachel Phillips.
