Ropes & Gray advised Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS) on its latest in a series of landmark acquisitions, a $2 billion acquisition and financing of over 220 loan performing commercial real estate loans from Atlantic Union Bank, which closed on June 26, 2025. This transaction adds to Blackstone’s $20 billion in commercial real estate loan acquisitions over the past two years, nearly all of which Ropes & Gray were involved in.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by real estate partners Anthony Mongone and Dan Stanco.
