Ropes & Gray Advises Berkshire Partners and Tango Analytics in its Acquisition of WatchWire

Ropes & Gray advised Berkshire Partners portfolio company Tango Analytics in its acquisition of WatchWire, a sustainability and energy management software-as-a-service (EMSaaS) provider. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed. The transaction was announced in a press release on August 9.

Tango is a leader in Store Lifecycle Management and Integrated Workplace Management System software, delivering a single solution spanning real estate, design & construction, lease administration & accounting, facilities, desk booking, visitor and space management. Investment firm, Berkshire Partners is headquartered in Boston and invests in well-positioned, growing companies across technology & communications, consumer, healthcare, and services & industrials.

The Ropes & Gray team that advised Berkshire Partners and Tango Analytics was led by private equity associates Brandon Winer and Halley Peterson, and included private equity partner Taylor Hart, intellectual property transactions partner Regina Sam Penti, tax partner Pamela Glazier, executive compensation and employee benefits partner Kyle Higley and data, privacy & cybersecurity partner Fran Faircloth.
