Ropes & Gray represented Aquiline Capital Partners LLC in the formation of MDpanel, a platform aimed at improving the processing of workers’ compensation insurance claims by delivering medical opinions more efficiently. California Medical Legal Specialists, LLC, and California Medical Evaluators Holdings, LLC, two leading providers of support services for physicians performing workers’ compensation evaluations, have joined the platform. The formation of MDpanel was announced in an Oct. 10 press release.
Aquiline Capital Partners LLC is a private investment firm based in New York and London investing in companies across financial services and technology, healthcare and business services. The firm has $9.9 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2023.
