A Mayer Brown team represented the management team of Wellspring Energy Resources, LLC in the formation of Wellspring Energy Resources and its equity commitment from certain funds managed by NGP Energy Capital Management, LLC to pursue non-operated oil and gas working interests, operated oil and gas development financings, structured transactions and other special situations in North America.
Wellspring is led by CEO Kenny Worrell, Executive Vice President of Land and Business Development Dale Smith, and Executive Vice President of Engineering Ryan Rickett.
The team was led by Corporate & Securities partners Carl von Merz and Jeff Dobbs and included assistance from Corporate & Securities associate Ryan Silverman, Tax partner Michelle Jewett, Employment & Benefits partner Ryan Liebl, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution counsel Kim Leffert in the firm’s Chicago, Houston, London and New York offices.
