Mayer Brown advises on the sale of former BP headquarters in one of the largest real estate deals in London’s West End this year

London  – Mayer Brown acted for Lifestyle International Holdings, a Hong Kong company, on the £291 million sale of BP’s former London headquarters at One St James’s Square to KKCG Real Estate Group, a Czech company owned by billionaire Karel Komárek. This is expected to be one of the largest property transactions in London’s West End this year. The team was led by co-leader of Real Estate Chris Harvey with Real Estate counsel Robert Patterson-Walters and included Real Estate – senior associate Annabel Ersser, associate Joshua Patterson and paralegal Michelle Prowse; Corporate – partner Alastair Dolman, senior associates Joe Cooper and Joey Lee; Tax – partners Ben Eaton and senior associate Kathryn Buddington.
