Linklaters advises Well Link Life Insurance on US$200m Tier 2 subordinated bond offering

Linklaters advised Well Link Life Insurance on its debut US$200m 10-year Tier 2 dated subordinated bond issuance.

This was an innovative insurance regulatory capital transaction, where the tier 2 instrument was issued in compliance with the Insurance (Valuation and Capital) Rules of Hong Kong SAR.

The Linklaters team provided comprehensive advice on the transaction, including structuring matters, and advising on the regulatory application to the Hong Kong Insurance Authority.
