Linklaters has advised Volkswagen on the most comprehensive transformation programme in the history of the Volkswagen Group. The Future Plan 2030 sets the stage to make the Volkswagen Group and its brands stronger, more competitive and better positioned for the future. It is divided into twelve so-called initiatives that will result in far-reaching changes throughout the Volkswagen Group in the coming years.
Linklaters has provided comprehensive advice to the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG on all legal issues relating to the conception and resolutions of the company’s governing bodies on the Future Plan 2030 as well as negotiations with various stakeholders of the Volkswagen Group.
The cross-practice Linklaters team was led by Ralph Wollburg (Partner, Chairman Global Corpo-rate and Co-Head of Global M&A) and included partner Arne Kießling (Corporate/M&A) and asso-ciates Max Malte Suchslandand André Landwehr (both Corporate/M&A).
