Linklaters advises TPG and GIC on the acquisition of Techem for €6.7bn

Linklaters has advised the fund TPG Rise Climate and the investor GIC on the acquisition of the Techem Group.

The sellers are majority owner Partners Group and co-investors CDPQ and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.

The total value of the transaction is €6.7bn. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
