Linklaters advises the underwriters of United Group’s €1.5 billion high yield refinancing

Linklaters advised the underwriters of United Group’s €1.5 billion high yield refinancing, comprising €1,130 million Senior Secured Notes maturing in 2033 and €355 million PIK Notes maturing in 2031.

United Group is the leading telecommunications player in Southeastern Europe and is majority-owned by BC Partners, a leading alternative investment manager.

The Linklaters high yield team was led by Alek Naidenov and included associate Dami Banire and trainee Thomas Alves Pereira.

The Linklaters banking team was led by partner Gus Graham, alongside associate Daria Dubinina.

Counsel Omer Harel advised on tax matters, and the Amsterdam and Luxembourg teams were led by partners Alexander Harmseand Melinda Perera, supported by Akrit Anand and Charlène Aplogan.
