European leader of business hotel private equity in Europe with a portfolio of 316 hotels in France and Europe, for a total value of 3,5bn as of June 30th 2023, Extendam is partnering with the family-owned group established in 1972 by the double Winter Olympic medallist Annie Famose, major player in the tourist activities and hospitality sectors, owner of the European leader of the skiing gear rental business, Skiset, and of 40 properties located in Avoriaz, Biarritz, Courchevel, Megève, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Tropez, within the framework of the acquisition of Hotelitsa.
The transaction was led alongside Genefim (Société Générale) and Arkéa.
Hotelitsa owns a hotel property with a total area of 10,000 m² on the Basque coast in Biarritz. Currently operated under the Radisson brand, the property will undergo major works in the coming months and a repositioning over several stages.
The Linklaters team in Paris was led by Corporate/M&A partner Nicolas le Guillou and Louise Allard, as well as Jonathan Abensour, counsel, and associate Marie Belle, on the tax and structure aspects of the transaction.
