Linklaters has advised Silgan Holdings Inc., a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions and closure systems for the world’s most important consumer goods products, on the acquisition of Weener Plastics Holdings B.V., a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging and dispensing solutions for cosmetics, household, food, and healthcare products. The transaction is valued at 838 million USD.
Weener operates a global network of 19 facilities, primarily in Europe, the USA, and South America, with approximately 4,000 employees and proprietary manufacturing technologies, including extensive cleanroom capabilities.
