The net proceeds from the issuance will be used for general corporate purposes, in particular to refinance upcoming maturities.
In 2023, Linklaters had already advised Rheinmetall in connection with the inaugural issuance of two series of convertible bonds with a total volume of €1 billion.
The Linklaters team was led by Capital Markets Partners Alexander Schleeand Martin Rojahn. Other team members included Catrin Retzmann (Managing Associate) and Tabea Meißner (Associate, both Capital Markets, all Frankfurt).
