
Linklaters has advised National Grid on the sale of a further 20% equity interest in its UK gas transmission and metering business to the existing majority owners, a consortium of long-term infrastructure investors led by Macquarie Asset Management.
This further stake sale is on equivalent financial terms to the original 60% transaction completed in January 2023, which Linklaters also advised on. Completion is subject to a regulatory condition, but the sale is expected to complete in the second half of 2023.
