
Linklaters has advised funds managed by Blackstone in the context of Banijay Gaming’s commitment to acquire JOA, one of France’s leading casino operators, pursuant to a put option agreement.
Completion of the proposed transaction is expected to take place in the second half of 2026, subject in particular to JOA’s employee representative bodies’ consultation and the receipt of customary regulatory approvals, including merger control and approvals applicable to the operation of casinos.
