Linklaters is advising its long-standing client Eni, a leading global integrated energy company, on the establishment of a joint venture with Mercuria, one of the world’s largest independent energy and commodity trading groups.
The joint venture intends to cover the commercialisation and trading activities in relation to oil, biofuels, gas, LNG and related logistics and infrastructure rights, leveraging on Eni and Mercuria expertise and operations.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and other completion conditions.
