
Linklaters has advised the Baker Tilly group on the expansion of the Baker Tilly Benelux platform through the addition of Baker Tilly Luxembourg. The transaction brings together 25 offices and approximately 1,500 professionals across Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, laying the foundation for a leading accountancy and advisory platform across the Benelux region.
As part of the transaction, the partners from Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands will jointly invest in the Benelux platform. Inflexion, a leading European mid-market private equity investor, will continue as a minority shareholder.
Closing is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to approval from the Dutch Competition Authority (ACM). Financial details have not been disclosed.
An international, cross-practice Linklaters team advised the Baker Tilly group on all aspects of the transaction, including negotiating the transaction documentation, tax structuring, and regulatory compliance requirements.
